1987 Dodge Ramcharger. 318 2bbl 4x4
I purchased from my local Fire Department, I was told it came from New Jersey when the new Chief came to NC he brought it with him. It was kept as a backup or used as a brush truck for years. The head gasket blew and the fire department had the heads rebuilt but had other priorities instead of finishing the job. I hated it sitting so I plead my case to the Board and was allowed to purchase it. I had it hauled on a rollback to a garage and had the job finished. It now has new belts , fluids , etc. Fires up drives , I've driven it around the neighborhood but haven't tagged and insured it.
It has had the rockers patched and a spot in the quarter. You can see in the pictures and in the video. Still has working lights and sirens. Plus PA system. Floors look great . https://youtu.be/ZvFUE7izDJc

I left the light bar on and drained the battery , I dropped another battery in to save time and didn't get a good connection. Its definitely a rare conversation piece.
