What are high drain batteries?
- This heated product pulls the energy out of the battery very quickly. Batteries designed for high power digital cameras or heated clothing release their energy quickly.
Examples include ActiVHeat custom rechargeable battery packs, Energizer Lithium AA batteries, and Ansmann 2850 mA/h NiMh AA batteries.
What if my batteries are not high-drain?
If the battery is not designed to release energy quickly it will overheat, lose its charge quickly and the heated item will only heat for a few minutes before the battery stops working. Examples include "long-life" AA batteries such as Duracell Coppertop, Energizer Alkaline and most store-brand batteries.
Due to inconsistent results with some low drain AA batteries, we recommend you choose a version including at least one of our custom ActiVHeat lithium battery packs.

The ActiVHeat Double Capacity Battery Park is our longest lasting battery. It can last up to 12 hours on the lowest setting and up to 6 hours on the highest setting. Like the Standard Capacity Battery Pack, this Battery Pack is equipped with intelligent control technology to prevent overcharging. A red neoprene casing helps to protect the Battery Pack from damage caused by accidental dropping and keeps the battery warmer for better charge retention.
The AC wall charger works from 110V to 240V AC 50-60 Hz power. This Double Capacity battery has the same capacity as two (2) standard capacity batteries but with the simplicity of not needing to change batteries during your activity.
ActiVHeat Six (6) AA Battery Case (batteries not included)
This sleek, curved black battery cases come included with all battery pack options. Each Battery Case only takes either six (6) AA: a) Energizer Ultimate Lithium high drain batteries which must be replaced each time you use these glove liners or b) Ansmann brand rechargeable 2850mAh rechargeable AA batteries. Will not likely work with any other batteries. For a frequent user, these batteries would not be suitable and you should choose one of our ActiVHeat rechargeable battery pack solutions. For infrequent users, these are perfect. The Battery Case fits perfectly in a pocket, relieving your arms and wrists of any weight associated with other brands of battery heated gloves or glove liners.
