Spa Hot Tub Heater 5.5kW 240v NEW 15.0" Flo-thru w/ unions for 2" pvc pipe LX-15 AP-1 originally designed for Spa
Builders controls, Pinnacle, and some old Sundance controls. It is pretty universal and could be adapted to many hot
tub controls, has 2 mounting studs which may or may not fall right where you want them, has a capture plate to clamp
temperature sensors firmly to the housing. Old part numbers for this one are
2-00-0109 and C2550-0056
Does not include any controls, no pressure switch, no hi limit cutoff switch and is meant as a standard
5500 watt replacement heater. It includes a guide instructing that no power must be applied
until good water flow is well established, no air in the piping, to avoid 'dry-fire' of the element,
to avoid burning up the element, which is standard procedure for any good flo-thru spa heater.
The element is a replaceable type. There is a pressure switch 1/8 NPT tapped hole and a stainless
steel clamp to hold the temp sensor(s) in place against the heater housing. The SS tube is flanged,
and includes industry standard threaded fittings and gaskets for 2 inch schedule 40 PVC pipe size,
