Spa Hot Tub Heater Cal Spas 'heat exchanger' style 4.0kW 240v NEW with aluminum enclosure box.
The old original had the heater in air, wrapped around the tube but this replacement has a
heating element in the water stream for good cooling. This is a simple style, and does not
include any controls, no pressure switch, no hi limit cutoff switch and is meant as a standard
4000 watt replacement heater. It includes a guide instructing that no power must be applied
until good water flow is well established, no air in the piping, to avoid 'dry-fire' of the element,
to avoid burning up the element, which is standard procedure for any good flo-thru spa heater.
The element is a replaceable type. There is a pressure switch 1/8 NPT tapped hole and a stainless
steel clamp to hold the temp sensor(s) in place against the heater housing. The SS tube is flanged,
and includes industry standard threaded fittings and gaskets for 2 inch schedule 40 PVC pipe size,
